Best Concert Pic Ever - Blog #2
SUPERDUPERKYLE CONCERT
I took this picture at the first concert I went to without an adult chaperone joining me. It was a SUPERDUPERKYLE performance - my new favorite rapper. The light show at this concert was absolutely wonderful. It wasn't a very large venue, but the lighting was great to me. What I love about this picture and the light in it is how you can almost feel what this picture sounds like, feels like and the exact energy that was in this moment translates to the picture. The vibrant colors of magenta, purple and blue bring forth the joy in this photo. The way the light only silhouettes certain people and their moving hands makes the picture feel alive. Not to mention my favorite part of the shot - a perfect silhouette of my favorite rapper 20 ft away from me. I love how you don't even need to see his face to feel how his body language was captured in this image. Right here, in a song about summer, he threw out an actual surfboard and 'CROWD SURFED' across the crowd. I was absolutely ecstatic, and every time I look at this image I can easily remember how fun this night and moment was. The fog definitely adds to the vibe of the image as well, as it helps the light to be seen more clearly. But my favorite little detail- is how you can see people on their phones recording this- and you can see a tiny little version of this image inside their phone. Take a close look, see if you can see what I mean. I'm always amazed that we can get this much feeling out of a picture just through light.
