This is a picture I took at Eureka! I love fire and flames and this was especially cool because of the water next to it, allowing for the reflection of the flames to be seen as well. Fire is so interesting and is light in an organic form. There is nothing artificial about it and it is constantly moving and changing. It can not be replicated and never appears the same way twice. Fire creates a natural gradient of color in its light and can have soft and hard edges. I love how you can see images in the light of a fire and how even in a still photo, you can see the life it possesses.
