Our famous and loved Disneyland. I have never been to a place that kept my head on a swivel as much as Disneyland has. I took this picture on my last visit. There are so many spectacles to marvel at and regardless of how many people there are or how tired I get from walking, Disneyland always maintains a warm, welcoming, and happy place. 100%, lighting is a contributing factor. Everything is lit perfectly. The first thing that catches my eye is the Walt Disney and Mickey Mouse statue right in the middle. Its low front light illuminates the statues in a way that’s different from everything else. I remember talking about how in this class this lighting can be eerie but, in this case, it’s very god-like we also said in class, supernatural. That lanterns have a beautiful orange glow. The colors make you very at home or in a log cabin using candlelight. They also remind me of the stars in the light sky. And the castle in the background brings everything together to make it magical. There is no shadow on the castle meaning that it has to be lit from every angle. I think it is more incredible that they can change the color of the castle on command because of the lighting. The lights in the castle's window mirror the lamps on the street light but the pinks and purples of the castle are not anywhere else in the picture making it super unique and beautiful. I love this picture.
