This photo was taken while driving south from the Bay Area to Southern California. The sun was just coming up and the way it was hitting the hills was simply beautiful. It reminded me of a low side angle based on the shadows the light was creating. It set a mood of a morning and the dark transforming into the light. Areas of the road and landscape around me were still dark but that one spot that was beginning to be lit by the sun was beautiful. It caught my eye and really drew me in. Finding light in the subtleties of nature is exceptional.
