While looking through images dealing with color art I came across this picture of the exhibit, Mori Building Digital Art Museum: teamLab Borderless in Tokyo, Japan. I loved the way it made me feel. I could almost feel rain and a coolness all around me because of the projections of contrasting lights on hanging fabric, angled floors, the use of cool colors, limited and focused lighting. The high ceilings with long fabric help the lights look as though water is falling down from the sky and the angled floor helps the lights appear to be running down something on the floor adding depth, level, and movement. I felt joy and as though I was looking into a fantastical and supernatural World because of the use of pinks, purples, black and white. Pink and purple bring feelings of happiness and when contrasted with black and white they are creating a magical feel because we don't see these colors this way in nature. Although there is a feeling of nature with water and leaves they are in a glowing environment. They are not illuminated with the color or direction of sunlight or moonlight and the images are digital and don't look like real leaves just the idea of them. The colors appear vibrant in a dark setting and in contrast most of the bodies are silhouettes which lends itself to a feeling of mystery, unusual and supernatural because we can not see faces or colors on them.
