This is one of my favorite pictures of my dog Cosmo, and a big part of why I like it so much is the lighting. Cosmo has a very dark black and brown fur color, and in the right lighting there's a beautiful sheen and glow to them. This picture captures a little bit of that on his right side, but on his left it's a bit darker and I think it provides a nice contrast. The light shining through the blinds also just looks cool by itself. I love my dog and I love this photo and I love the way the light was captured in it.
