Above is a photo I took while I was at a concert a few weeks ago. After learning about the use of par cans in rock concert venues because of the punchiness of the light, I was hyper-aware of the lighting sources in the venue. The hues used when this picture was taken were blues and greens. The product of these two colors mixing I now know is cyan, thanks to the knowledge of additive color mixing I gained from this class. The result of this lighting choice was a very specific, moody atmosphere that reflects off the faces of the concert-goers, creating an environment of wistfulness and introspection.
