Hi everyone!
This is one of the photos I have saved in my lighting design folder I have on my Pinterest page, I really like the way the hand looks under the neon lights as well as the wild neon color palette that was chosen. This photo is from a series called, "Acoluthic Redux" by Andre Elliott and it features positioned hands under different neon lights that help cast soft shadows on the hands. It's an interesting series of photos due to the use of neon lights since they are strong and at times, harsh on the eye but here they are creating a different effect by casting soft form shadows and some cast shadows and accentuating them by using multiple angles with multiple colors. Also, it's an interesting concept since there is a loud color scheme yet they are helping create a soft image.
