I took this picture a year ago when I was hiking to Little Yosemite in Sunol, Ca. I love the way that the light hits the rocks in this picture because it really shows off all of the bumps and ridges on each rock. I think that rocks can show so much history and I really feel like the light helps to illuminate that. I remember this being a particularly bright day, especially when the sunlight would reflect off of the rocks. But there was something about the reflection off the rocks that felt like the light was really surrounding you like a hug of warm rays. It also didn't feel so bright that it was abrasive, but bright enough that it could invigorate you for your entire day.
