Blog #5

For my final blog post project, I found this image of an industrial, concrete corridor. The space is simply illuminated by natural sunlight breaking through a series of slits in the wall, which creates shadows of the slits opposite of the wall. What interested me about this photo was the unique composition and framing in such an otherwise bland space. The light is so intense when contrasted against the dark concrete that it almost looks like LED lights embedded behind the slits. This example of lighting reinforces that light is art, even in everyday spaces.
