I just thought that this photo was interesting because of how the light is interacting with the object. I believe that the object is a bouncy ball, though it could be a marble as well. If asked how I thought the light would interact with the ball, I would have answered that the light would still shine through, albeit less intense. I would not have thought that it would redirect all light to a single point. Also, I would have said that the light would show the different colors shown on the ball. Some color could be seen right at the bottom of the ball, but mostly it is white. A possible example of additive color mixing.
